This application was developed as a team project focused on sustainability, research, and collaboration.

Our research included a survey and a series of personal interviews with people who regularly use public transit and its accompanying applications. Through this process, we found that the existing transit system was often unreliable and that the applications designed to support it were difficult to navigate.

In response, we developed Hill Tracks, a proposed public streetcar system designed specifically for Fayetteville, Arkansas. The streetcar system would improve reliability through consistent arrival and departure schedules. To address sustainability, the system is envisioned to operate on magnetic tracks, reducing carbon emissions while creating a more efficient form of transportation.

The application uses a bold, minimal color palette and clear typography to support intuitive navigation. Routes are distinguished through a color-coded system, allowing users to quickly identify transit options based on their location.
